In 1927, the Superintendencia de la Casa de Moneda y Especies Valoradas was created out of the merger of Casa de Moneda and Talleres de Especies Valoradas.
2009 – 2021 Issues
These notes commemorate 200 years of independence. All of the notes were designed by the Swedish company Crane AB, which prints the paper notes. The polymer notes are printed by Note Printing Australia.
